Our university announced that it has entered an MOU with Inje University on the 28th (Tue) to expand the results of PRIME Project and information sharing.

Through this MOU, the two institutions are to ▲ jointly hold Capstone Design student exchange and competition, ▲ jointly hold and operate workshops, ▲ collaborate on programs for network revitalization, ▲ support mutual use of facilities or affiliated institutions, ▲ and joint promotion of other projects for the development of both schools.

Our university and Inje University’s PRIME Project Group have made efforts to create a collaborative relationship using the educational infrastructure of the two institutions since the beginning of 2017. In particular, there was a focused discussion on the promotion of joint student projects that integrates biomedical healthcare based on the healthcare field of Sookmyung Women’s University’s College of Engineering, which is its flagship area, and Inje University Paik Hospital.

Joint student exchange program is planned to be held between the two schools as well through the utilization of the “Campus Town Base Center (Cross Campus),” which was established in the Yongsan Electronics Market to revitalize local community and resolve youth issues based on collaboration between Seoul City and Yongsan District.

PRIME Project Group Leader, Oh Joong-san, said, “I am happy that a foundation was prepared through this MOU between the two schools and we will collaborate to vitalize exchanges not only in utilization of infrastructure, but also in various areas such as academic exchanges and physical/human resources” and “We will especially spare no efforts in enabling our students to have diverse dreams during their important college years and make them come true.”
